Each year, the Music By The Sea Festival is advertised extensively throughout South-East Queensland, through radio and mainstream print media, posters and flyers. The MBTS website has up to 40,000 hits per month leading up to the annual festival in early January. The Sandgate catchment area has a population of around 65,000 residents.
